finally got it. The accelerating properties of gravity come from momentum of any object. the hidden energy of momentum is where the apparent force of gravity comes from. If you could actually bring the earth to a stop relative to everything else it would have no gravity. Evaporation if not due to "boiling" is due to momentum energy release. the trick then is proximal verses distant em codes.
